When Marcia (battling stage 3 breast cancer) shared her story with us, we knew she was the perfect candidate for a One Day to Remember outing: “As a single mother of two battling such a severe diagnosis, I am finally (somewhat) in a space mentally where I would love to relax and do something different that my children and I can experience together through such a rough patch in our life.” Thanks to the generosity of the Pittsburgh Zoo, Marcia and her family had an incredible day exploring and learning about all kinds of animals. The highlight of their day included a behind-the-scenes tour with one of the zoo’s famously snuggly Red Pandas!
