After a bilateral mastectomy and many rounds of radiation, Lauren (battling breast cancer) and her family needed a break. One Day to Remember to the rescue! We provided Lauren, her husband, and their adorable little guy with an overnight getaway to a resort on nearby Kiawah Island. The family enjoyed lots of relaxation and quality time together in the sun and splashing in the ocean and many pools. Throw in some delicious meals and a sunrise portrait session with a professional photographer, and it was exactly what they needed! A week after their outing, Lauren said: “I’m still speechless at the opportunity and our experience. I didn’t think about my illness once.”
