At the young age of 31, Jacquelyn was battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She and her daughter Brynley were in desperate need of a break, and they reached out to One Day to Remember after learning about the organization on instagram. The two young ladies had a magical getaway to nearby Salt Lake City, Utah…just what they needed. Their outing included pottery painting, a fancy teatime and overnight stay at a beautiful hotel, dinner at the Melting Pot, and a private ice skating lesson for Brynley! When they returned home, Jacquelyn said: “The outing brought us joy we hadn’t experienced in a long time…it was much-needed, and I really didn’t sense how much we needed a break.”

We are sad to share that Jacquelyn passed away in February of 2022. She was only 32 years old.
