Cara’s breast cancer metastasized to her brain, necessitating two brain surgeries…and the tumor was growing again. She and her family desperately needed an escape, and One Day to Remember was the perfect organization to provide it. We arranged for the family to drive an RV a few hours away to Erie, Pennsylvania, where they enjoyed lots of quality time together outdoors, fishing and swimming and making the most of all that Northwestern PA has to offer. After returning home, Cara said: “It was so nice to have this outing and all of the details set up for us. The hardest part is all the planning and phone calls to set everything up. Not having to do that saved us so much stress. The boys absolutely loved everything about our trip and are still begging to recreate the experience.”
